Laurie Smith Kaczanowska’s professional background includes a number of legal positions as an Assistant City Attorney and attorney in private practice.
Laurie practiced in the areas of Mental Health, Dependency and Neglect, Juvenile Delinquency, Adult Criminal Prosecution, Restorative Justice, Mediation and Family Law. She received her law degree from Northeastern University in Boston.
Laurie has a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. She taught there and at the University of Denver’s University College in the areas of Law and Social Work, Law, Policy and Politics, Mediation and International Public Policy.
Laurie has been a Community Advocate for many years and is dedicated to the Mission and Vision of the Bucks County Women’s Advocacy Coalition. She is the Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee.
She is a proud parent and resident of Doylestown.
