Your Vote is Your Voice
A Toolkit to Promote Citizen Participation and Get Out the Vote
The Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Committee is featuring two GOTV Toolkits this year – the updated 2018 GOTV Toolkit for Agencies plus a new 2018 GOTV Toolkit for Students, which can be used in high schools and colleges and focuses on getting our young adults registered and committed to voting.
Tam St. Claire, President of the Bucks County Women’s Advocacy Coalition said, “AAUW-Lower Bucks, AAUW-Doylestown, the League of Women Voters-Bucks County and the Bucks County Women’s Advocacy Coalition are working together again this year to encourage eligible voters to register, to learn about candidates and issues from trustworthy sources, and to vote on May 15, Primary Election Day and on November 6, General Election Day.”
Citizens must be 18 years of age or older to vote in any election. If your 18th birthday is on or before May 15, you must register by April 16 to vote in the Primary Election. If your 18th birthday is on or before November 6, 2018, you must register by October 9 to vote in the General Election. Check online to confirm that you are registered.
